GOALS

Their mission of Realmatch has always been to create a platform that provides employers and job seekers a better way to connect.  Much like a dating service, they developed a platform that matches the qualifications and preferences of job seekers, with the needs of the employers. 

Throughout the years, users had a difficult time understanding the concept of “matching”.  In the system itself, users had to choose between searching for a job and going through a matching process in order to see better results. This confused users, and most opted to do a traditional search. 

Realmatch asked us to address these issues, and to redesign their user experience.

SOLUTION

Our solution was to integrate the search and match system, so that the user doesn’t have to choose.  We felt that people entering the site are looking for a job, and it was up to us to create a fluid flow for them so that they can get matched with great jobs. 

Another solution was to divide the information into smaller chunks.  The users input little information in the beginning, and automatically receive results.  In order to improve these results, the users have several ways of inputting more information about themselves and their work history.
