The Process

We were approached by Pontis to deliver an animation, similar to the one we created for 2007's GSM meeting in Barcelona.  However, they presented us with a huge obstacle.  We would have a little less than two weeks to deliver.  Always excited to work with a minimalistic line, and cute characters, we decided to take the challenge.
 
Right away, we called our super-sonic-sound-woman, Yana Ioffe, and scheduled some studio time.  We knew that only she could crunch out a great score at the last minute.  Within three days, we closed a script and got it approved with the marketing department.  That only left us about four and a half days to complete the design, illustrations, and animation. 
 
Luckily, we already had the main character, Mr. Costanza, from the last animation we made for Pontis.  We continued to illustrate the rest of the characters, built them in 3D, and went straight into the animation phase.  Icons, little details, and other graphic elements were added at the end.  It was a tight race against time, but we made the delivery date.
